Harley’s biggest challenge…to sell motorcycles in the winter time.
When the winter rolled around, sales would drop off dramatically. Harley Davidson of Louisville felt they had tried everything. Ironically, it is the best time of the year for the consumer to buy because of the huge selection of inventory available.

KY Telco’s biggest challenge… create a demand for motorcycle loans.
No one wants to buy a motorcycle when they can’t ride it…and KY Telco is not top of mind for financing a motorcycle.

The Idea
Pay Only When You Ride!
Both shared a heavy broadcasting schedule on 107.7SFR, New Country Q103.1 and Country Legends 103.9. And Traffic Naming rights on 107.7SFR. They also utilized the station’s websites by using streaming commercials and banner ads to brand “Pay Only When You Ride”.
The Results
Harley and KY Telco Couldn’t Be Happier!
Harley Davidson sold 25 motorcycles during the slow down of winter! KY Telco has increased the number of motorcycle loans by 25% over the last four months!
