What's your favorite Fair food?

The Kentucky State Fair is almost here and I was wondering what your favorite food was? And whatever your answer is, is it on a stick?

When it comes to midway snacking --they say stick it!

There seems no end to the variety of food on a stick folks can find at the Wisconsin State Fair.

Fancy a chili cheese dog on a stick? How about some deep-fried apple pie on a stick? There's cream cheese with bacon. And deep-fried ravioli. Last year's favorite is returning: chocolate-covered bacon.

Fair organizers say there are almost 70 food-on-a-stick options this year.

I wonder if we can expect these new additions? We'll see. The Kentucky State Fair runs from August 19-29.

Sarah Bickerstaff has a dream -- a dog park dream.

The Omaha, Nebraska, woman is one of 10 finalists in Beneful's WagWorld Dream Dog Park contest. She sent a video of her dog, Sadie, to the dog food company.

Sadie and Bickerstaff have already won a year's supply of food. If Bickerstaff is the grand prize winner, she could get a-half million bucks to overhaul the Omaha Dog Park.

Bickerstaff's ideas include a walking path, more shade trees and some water so Sadie and her doggie pals can splash around a bit.

The winning dog video will be decided by online voting, through August 11. The winner will be announced in September.

He used to be the favorite American sports star.

But it's funny how a single-car accident and loads of mistresses can change that kind of thing around for a guy.

Tiger Woods has dropped into a tie on a list of the favorite American sports stars.

If there's any consolation for Woods - it's that the person he's tied with is Kobe Bryant - someone who had a similar fall from public grace when he was accused of rape in 2003.

Bryant moves up from fourth last year to grab a share of the top spot with Woods on the list, put together by Harris Interactive.

Another indication of how fickle such lists can be - LeBron James dropped from third to sixth on the list - while retired NBA star Michael Jordan fell from second to seventh.

Among female athletes, sisters Serena and Venus Williams are numbers one and two - followed by race car driver Danica Patrick and retired soccer star Mia Hamm.
